This began as a message on DSLReports.com, in a non-public forum.
The original message:
To those who know me, and the rest who don't.
I have recently been diagnosed with advanced cancer.
This includes 2 tumors in brain.
It's kind of difficult to post this.
This may be my last post.
If I can, I might be back.
IF not,, bye.

Perhaps god will allow a cure.
It's been fun while it lasted.

This was on March 23, 2002
My nerves were jangled and lost a lot of auto-motor skills in my left hand & arm Trying to get sleep was almost impossible.

Friday, 3/22/2002

I checked into the hospital to be admitted for CT-scan & MRI. It was an over-night stay. They wanted to do a biopsy on my kidney on Saturday morning. They let me go home that afternoon. 3/23/2002.
Later that night, my arms and hands developed the hee-bee-geevies.
( a severe type of nervious & numbness)
Sleep was impossible.
Called the Doctor's answering service at 3:00 AM for some consultation. It was agreed that a better sleeping pill was needed. well, it worked, but I only slept about 4 hours. After waking, the hee-bee-geevies returned.

PALM SUNDAY, Mar, 24, 2002

I woke up Karen and informed her she had to drive me to church. We had a meeting with the paster informing him what was going on.

I made a good confession and was also annointed for the sick. Something happened after that. Perhaps some would say it's psycological, but I beleve God was watching over me because since then my motor skills have returned, but not completely.

The numbness and weak feeling my left hand was gone. The hee-bee-geevies went away. The slight pain I had in my leg while walking was gone.

This was enough to convince me that God was surely watching over.

I am now a new person.
My entire attitude has completely changed. I get along with everybody now. You will never hear a bad or cross word from me again. This is not the end, but just the beginning of my fight.
