Today they are moving me to my final location, a nursing home.

A word from Karen and Family:
The words above are verbatim those requested by Al for his final page prior to being moved. Al spent only 1 day in the nursing home, as his entire family decided before his first night ended that his final days would be better spent at home. On May 16, Thursday, Al took his final trip home to stay. With the help of KC Hospice, Al spent his final 11 days here at home, with family. At approximately 1:30am, Tuesday May 28th, Alfred Vincent Richards passed away in his sleep, resting peacefully.

We would like to thank everyone for their emails, calls, prayers, and words of comfort. Karen
